This is a new experience for me ---as I know it is for some of you--- and marks a special day in my professional growth with regard to integrating more technology into my everyday and educational leadership life.
I hope that we are able to foster a meaningful professional learning community with these tools as we add them to our repertoires, arsenals, and toolboxes.
I have used twitter quite a few times and moved tweetdeck, and hootsuite onto my mobile devices, earnestly hoping to impact your learning experiences in our course in a profound way.
One thing that I find rewarding in this new mode or communication is the ability to share with you little bits of pertinent information as soon as I see them on my iPad, iPhone, or computer as others share them with me.
I am still surprised when people who I don't know begin to follow... I need to get used to virtual 'trolling.' It is all about developing a professional network right now. Right?
